NonprofitRFPExchange.com, Inc.was started in 2005 as an idea to help nonprofit organizations get the most value for their dwindling budget dollars in the wake of federal and state funding cuts.

Combining the power of an exchange website, similar to what the building trades or commodities industries use, and a focus on good and services needed by nonprofits was the result of brainstorming by the founding partners, Karen Anderson and Marc Anderson. They understood the time-consuming, and often frustrating bidding process mandated by boards and oversight agencies as each had worked in the nonprofit arena for many years either directly or in a consultant role. Marc Anderson and Karen Anderson had previously partnered in the successful nonprofit administration and fundraising firm, Hudson Bay Company of Illinois, during the 1980's and '90's.

NonprofitRFPExchange.com, Inc., a Minnesota for-profit corporation, recognizes the invaluable role nonprofits have in our society. We dedicate our efforts to promoting them and their work for the public good.
